Our Services

Feasibility Study/DPR:

We carry out pre-commissioning feasibility studies and prepare bankable Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for Solar, Wind, Biomass and Biogas power projects, which include examination of technological parameters, broad technical specifications, evaluation of the existing resources, layouts/diagrams, financial analysis and complete project implementation schedule.

  • Solar, Wind and Biomass Resource Assessment
  • Power Potential/PLF Estimation
  • Technologies Selection
  • Project Scheduling/Management

Financial Evaluation:

We also develop and validate project specific “Financial Models” including micro level costing and sensitivity analysis with critical parameters for wind and solar projects. Financial models provide perfect illustration about the tariff at which the developers/investors would be able get their expected return and help higher management to take a prudent decision at pre- bid stage.

  • Cost & Capital Structure
  • Cashflow Analysis
  • Sensitivity Analysis
  • Project Financing
  • Risk Assessment
  • Due Diligence

Policy & Regulatory Advisory:

The structure of the Indian power sector is reasonably complex. The Centre as well as each state has its own renewable energy policy and regulations to promote renewable energy generation. We provide central and state government policy updates to our clients to keep them abreast of the policy changes, which potentially affect their businesses.

Green Power Transaction/ PPA:

As per the Indian Electricity Act-2003 and Open Access Regulation- 2005, a consumer is free to procure power from any generator using transmission and distribution infrastructure of state/central utilities after paying some fee such as transmission, wheeling and banking charges/losses (collectively called Open Access Charges).

Depending upon the duration of Open Access Power transaction can be categories as follows.
1. SHORT TERM OPEN ACCESS (STOA): Contracts > 1 month but < 6 months.
2. MEDIUM TERM OPEN ACCESS (MTOA): Contracts > 3 months but < 3 years.
3. LONG TERM OPEN ACCESS (LTOA): Contracts > 12 years but < 25 years.

Depending upon the trading platform, the Open Access Power transaction can be categories as follows:

Collective Transaction:

Electricity can be directly purchasedfrom the two energy exchanges through the trading members of the Exchange. The two energy exchanges are Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and the Power Exchange of India Ltd (PXIL).

Bilateral Contracts / OTC:

Electricity can be directly purchased from specified power generators (IPPs) by a specified buyer. The specific point of injection and point of drawal can be fixed mutually. Varying quantum of power (MW) can be taken for any time during a month.

Our Offering:

We facilitate bilateral trading of green energy from Solar and Wind power projects in various states. We connect renewable energy generators to bulk power consumers from commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors and help them in negotiation of commercial and other terms of PPA.
